Quick Scan is, as the name implies, a quick scanning method that will immediately scan and save the item you desire into the application without presenting the Image Capture Screen or requiring the user to press the Done. This Quick Scan function will utilize the color, size and scanning sources settings last selected in your scan window.


In the Folder Display area, right click on the folder name and select the rename function. Then type in the new folder name. Alternately, instead of right clicking and selecting rename from the menu, you may highlight the folder name and press the F2 button. Then type in the new folder name. When utilizing either rename method, press the enter key, or click anywhere on the screen after typing in the new folder name.


  1. Select the Company Documents or Root folder
  2. Right click on the folder name
  3. Select New from the Menu. The system will create a folder called New Folder.
  4. You will automatically be placed in the Rename function of the New Folder allowing you to immediately name the file appropriately.
  5. If desired, go to the Setup Folders function to move the folder to the desired location in your listing.

Note: New Folders will appear at the end of your folder listing until you go to the Setup Folders function and tell the system the exactly where you want them to appear.


You can add a note to a file by right clicking on the file name in the File Display Area and selecting the Note option. You may enter a title (brief description) for the note and the body of the note as well. Notes will appear at the bottom of the screen in the Image Display Area

  2. Right click on the folder name
  3. Select New from the Menu. The system will create a folder called New Folder.
  4. You will automatically be placed in the Rename function of the New Folder allowing you to immediately name the file appropriately.

Note: New Sub Folders will appear at the end of the main folder. These new folders will remain at the bottom of the list until you go to the Setup Folders function and tell the system the exactly where you want them to appear.

  3. Select the Print button - this is the button that appears as a printer in the Action Toolbar Area

  5. Select the Print button within the Windows Printer Dialog Box
